Garden escape on Quadra Island, first observed by John Brears in 2011. Brears reports finding it in a "wasteland area of the local building supply company". Where a single plant was found in 2011, "there are now several very dry plants, all gone to seed (Sept. 2020)". John also indicates that plants were found "on the natural embankment / shoreline of Drew Harbour." Frank Lomer reports "a couple of plants at Lions Bay along the railway tracks in July 2020.
